We are currently looking for a Full time Building Maintenance Estimator / Minor Works Estimator to handle sourcing trades, compiling quotes, organizing materials, organizing equipment, updating clients & assisting with general day to day tasks using simple job tracking software to join our team.

Qualities:

• Previous trade experience or previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Be a self-starter and highly motivated.
• Ability to perform a variety of different tasks when required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptive to changing priorities.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Organizing all jobs daily with in house job tracking systems.
• Updating all jobs with clients daily.
• Scheduling jobs to in house & external trades using job tracking software.
• Sourcing trades for the works required.
• Organizing materials and equipment for jobs.
• Organizing inductions.
• Assisting with small quotes.
• Maintaining a good list of trades over NSW & ACT.
• Ability to problem solve and handle any customer issues that may arise with a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain long-term relationships with clients and trades.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to administration systems.
• General day to day tasks.

Qualifications/skills:

• Ability to successfully obtain police check & working with children check.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred although not essential.
• Previous trade experience or experience in with tradespeople is preferred although not essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.
• Customer service experience preferred although not essential.
• Current drivers’ license preferred although not essential.
