About the role – Maximum Term Fulltime (12 Months)
Baptist Care SA, as part of the Toward Home Alliance, is seeking a passionate Team Leader to lead the Wardli-ana program supporting transformational change in how services respond to homelessness. You’ll join a bold and collaborative effort to end homelessness through culturally appropriate, person-led, and integrated service delivery. As a key leader, you will foster a supportive team culture, build strong partnerships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations, and ensure high-quality, client-centred care that promotes cultural identity and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:
Lead a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary Wardli-ana case management team to provide outstanding services and encourage innovation in service delivery to meet client needs
Participate with Baptist Care SA leadership to ensure effective delivery of Baptist Care SA’s Stakeholder Engagement strategy and plan
Operationalise and maintain continuous quality improvement to ensure high quality client care and financial sustainability of the service
About you:
You’re a compassionate and culturally aware leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness. With a strong commitment to social justice, you bring experience in leading teams, building meaningful community partnerships, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality, person-led service
You will also have the following skills and experience:
Relevant qualifications in social work, community services, management or equivalent experience
Minimum of 2 years leadership experience in human services or similar environment
Adaptive leadership skills and ability to engage with senior leaders, service delivery workers and clients
