"KS Cheema Pty Ltd, atf Cheema Family Trust t/as Gladstone ValleyTyres" is looking for a fully qualified and experienced motor mechanic to join our team at 45 Tank Street, Gladstone, QLD 4980.

This is a Permanent Full-Time position for the right candidate withthe required qualifications and experience.

The salary package offered is $75,000 - $80,000 depending on thelevel of experience in the field.

Prospective employee must have at least 1+ years of experience in light vehicle repair and maintenance along with related qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Providing expert advice in relation to current mechanical conditionof vehicles

• Taking all necessary steps to diagnose to ensure the correctoperation of vehicles.

• Diagnose and repair the mechanical parts of the motor vehiclesuch as the engine, transmission and the suspension systems

• Providing guidance and training to apprentice service technicians

• Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring thecorrect operation of all tools and specialized equipment.

• Demonstrate behaviors that align with company policies,organizational values.

• Contribute to building a positive team spirit.

Requirements:

• Australian Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic.

• Minimum 1+ years' experience

• Must hold a current driver's license with the ability to drive manualand automatic.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with quality workmanship and aneye for detail

• Previous dealership experience will be highly regarded but notessential.

• Road worthy ticket is desirable.

• Must be able to work as part of a team and independently without supervision.
