About the role
What is the role: Junior Financial Adviser (Or Professional Year Candidate)
Hours/days: Full time
Location: Hybrid work from home / Greensborough Office
Responsibilities include:
Initial client engagement to determine if they are a good fit for the business
Work with the support team for the initial research and prepare clients' insurance advice.
Client communication including phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
Work with the support team on the implementation of insurance applications and updating insurers or clients as to the state of an application.
Manage ongoing client communication and questions.

Mentoring - You will be paired with an experienced adviser for ongoing learning in both meeting and overall advice techniques
Support staff & para planners - You will be working with your own pod including a para planner & client services team members to gather initial client info, prepare advice documents & assist with your insurance applications.
Continued Education - We will encourage and support you in obtaining relevant insurance knowledge and further studies with organised professional development sessions with insurers as well as regular adviser off sites with all the advisers.
Compliance Training - Regular updates on advice regulation and changes in insurance products.

What experience do you require?
This position is ideal for a qualified financial adviser who has completed your professional year, however, if you are ready to start or have already started your professional year, please apply.
We also expect you to have:
Great email management skills
Experience using financial planning quote comparison tools
High level of expertise in using insurance quoting software
Experience lodging insurance application
Base understanding of the insurance underwriting process and likely outcomes
Base understanding of the different insurance products on the market
What Qualifications do you require?
FASEA Approved & on the adviser register OR requisite qualifications and experience to begin your professional year

How big is the business: We have seen significant growth in the last 4 years since we focused on specialising in personal insurance advice. In the 2025 financial year, we helped over 1,000 people put in place policies to help protect themselves and their families and we are on track for more growth.
