About the Role
The Rent Assessment Officer undertakes rental reviews for Foundation Housing’s tenants by following a framework and ensuring a robust, fair, and equitable assessment of the amount of rent to be paid. The role interacts with tenants, internal staff, and agencies to help determine rental amounts and any additional financial entitlements that may be applicable.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Proven ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Advanced skills level within Microsoft Excel and intermediate to advanced PC skills working within MS Suite
High level literacy and numeracy skills.
Ideally you also have the following knowledge and experience:
Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act (desirable).
Previous experience working with Centrelink payments and entitlements (desirable).
Previous experience working with SharePoint (desirable).
The successful applicant for this position will be required to provide a National Police Check.
