The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our highly performing team. This position offers the opportunity to play a vital role in the daily operations of the pharmacy while providing attentive, compassionate service to our valued patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Accurately and efficiently dispense scripts and assist pharmacist in handling stock

· Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on personalised care

· Assist customers with product queries and general health advice

· Accurately operate the point-of-sale system and handle transactions with efficiency and accuracy

· Replenish stock, maintain visual merchandising standards, and support inventory control

· Contribute to the setup and execution of promotional displays

· Effectively collaborate with pharmacists and team members to ensure smooth and compliant store operations

About You

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, a genuine desire to help others, and the ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team. Your proactive nature, attention to detail, and polished communication skills will be highly valued and most desirable .

Preferred Attributes and Experience

• Prior experience in pharmacy is prerequisite

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong organisational ability and attention to detail

• A willingness to learn and grow within the pharmacy profession

• Availability to work weekdays and some weekend

• Rostered hours quite suited for parents dropping off and picking up their children from school/childcare

• S2/S3 training or community pharmacy certifications are highly regarded

Prerequisite:

• Australian permanent resident

• At least 3 years experience in community pharmacy
