Seaforth Vets is looking for a warm, organised, animal-loving people person to be the friendly face at our front desk. If you can juggle phone calls, belly rubs, and appointment bookings with a smile, we would love to hear from you!

Seaforth Vets is a proudly independent veterinary hospital, caring for our community's pets since 1983. We're more than just a clinic — we're part of the local family. You would be part of a close-knit team of 5 vets, 5 nurses, and 4 friendly receptionists, combining gold-standard care with a genuine love for both animals and people.

Your Day-To-Day:

- Giving a warm welcome to pets and their people – you're the friendly face they see first!

- Answering phones, booking appointments and helping clients stay on top of their pet's care.

- Helping to keep things flowing smoothly between reception, our vets and our amazing nursing team.

- Taking payments and processing invoices with ease and accuracy.

- Handling medications, discussing pet care and answering client questions with confidence.

- Keeping the front desk looking great and running like clockwork.

- Listening to client concerns and helping them with empathy, understanding and a solutions-focused attitude.

Full-time position including weekend roster (specific hours to be discussed)

We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have:

- Reception or customer service experience (vet/medical setting preferred)

Minimum 2 years reception or customer service experience (veterinary/medical setting preferred)

- Excellent communication and multitasking skills

- A friendly, calm manner – especially under pressure

- Computer literacy and confidence with admin tasks & social media

Proficiency with veterinary practice management software (we use Vision), Microsoft Office, and social media platforms

- A genuine love of animals and people alike
