We are recruiting on behalf of a well-respected industry superannuation fund seeking a Data Leakage Protection (DLP) Administrator to join their growing Security Operations team.

Reporting to the Security Operations Manager, this role plays a critical part in protecting the organisation’s sensitive data and supporting the delivery of key security controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and administer DLP technologies including rule creation, tuning, alert triage, and escalation
  
  
• Analyse DLP reports and proactively recommend risk mitigation actions
  
  
• Engage with internal stakeholders to design and roll out DLP policies and provide training and awareness sessions
  
  
• Collaborate with vendors to support DLP solutions, troubleshooting and upgrading where necessary
  
  
• Support compliance efforts including audit preparation and policy alignment with standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and CPS234
  
  
• Deliver clear reporting, RCA documentation, and contribute to security program improvements
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar DLP or security operations role
  
  
• Strong understanding of DLP tools and policy configuration (e.g. Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec DLP)
  
  
• Knowledge of core security standards including ISO 27001, NIST CSF/RMF, Essential Eight, and CPS234
  
  
• Proficient in incident response, stakeholder communication, and technical documentation
  
  
• Relevant certifications highly regarded (e.g. Microsoft Security Administrator, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, GIAC)
