Role Description

This is a 1 – 3 day per week on-site role for a Psychologist, based in Upper Ferntree Gully, VIC.

You can select your own work hours per day between 8am and 8pm; work between 4 and 8 hours per day depending on what suits you best.

The Psychologist will be responsible for providing counselling sessions to clients. Day-to-day tasks include sessions with clients, evaluating mental health conditions, and if required collaborating with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. The Psychologist will also engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in the field.

Qualifications

AHPRA registration as either General or Clinical Psychologist.

Counselling and Mental Health expertise

Ability to deliver therapeutic interventions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team

Relevant experience in clinical settings is desirable

Registration with the relevant professional regulatory body in Australia
