Vets in Zillmere has been proudly serving our community with exceptional veterinary care for the past two years. Our dedicated team has experienced rapid growth, and we're now looking to expand our friendly and professional team of veterinarians, nurses, and vet techs.
We prioritize both our clients and their pets, delivering gold-standard veterinary services in a welcoming environment. As a host clinic for Dr. Ema Bowman, we undertake BOAS surgery and care for a significant number of brachycephalic patients, both surgical and general.

About the Role:
As Head Veterinary Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in leading the nursing team, overseeing daily operations, and supporting the delivery of high-quality veterinary services. You will combine clinical experience with leadership skills to motivate and mentor your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the nursing team to ensure efficient and compassionate care
- Assist with reception, consultations, surgeries, and laboratory procedures
- Assist with administrative duties
- Manage staff rosters and workflows
- Ensure compliance with practice and regulatory standards
- Provide excellent client communication
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified veterinary nurse
- Strong team management skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Proven experience in a busy clinic
- Passionate about animal welfare and team development
- Willingness to learn, or have experience in, brachycephalic nursing
- Flexible team player focused on constructive, harmonious collaboration
