Temporary Housing Officer – Immediate Start

We’re seeking a skilled professional to step into a temporary Housing Officer role with one of our valued clients.

This is an immediate start for a three-week assignment, working four days per week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The role is conveniently located in Sydney’s Inner West and offers a competitive hourly rate of $48.

About the role:
In this rewarding position, you’ll provide tenancy and property management services to clients from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with complex needs. Responsibilities will include:

• Managing tenancy sign-ups, rent collection and arrears
• Conducting property inspections and condition reports
• Maintaining accurate tenant and property records
• Preparing reports and documentation as required
• Liaising with tenants and external stakeholders to support positive housing outcomes

About you:

• Previous experience in housing, community housing, or government housing settings
• Strong understanding of tenancy management and relevant legislation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working with diverse and vulnerable client groups
• Current driver’s licence
• Able to commence immediately and commit for the duration of the contract
