You are responsible for the overall maintenance and day to day upkeep of all site plant & equipment associated with the production and manufacturing of, Steel Strapping Products, Seal Manufacture, Splitting Line, Angleboard Operations. Coordinating its activities and ensuring its smooth operation.

What you need

• Mechanical trades certificate
• Experience in working in a similar role, involving work in stores
• Sound experience in a Manufacturing environment for at least 3-4 years
• Communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, suggest strategies and implement in consultation with Maintenance Coordinator

What you will be doing

• Achieve 98% (minimum) conformance to the production plan on a daily basis
• Continuously explore opportunities for improvement
• Work within level of authority
• Perform other assignments as directed by the Group Leaders, Operation Coordinator and Operations Manager
• You will be trained in several key operator positions in order to cover operations personnel during times of labour shortages or emergencies.
