About the Role
We are currently seeking hardworking and motivated Civil Labourers and Plant Operators to join our growing team on a full-time basis. We have multiple roles available, including:

Excavator Operators

Vac Truck Operators

NBN ACM Pit Removalists

Telstra/NBN Pit Installers

Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD) Offsiders & Operators

You’ll work on a variety of telecommunications and civil construction projects across South Australia, including pit and pipe installation, asbestos pit removal, pipe laying, trenching, and operating specialised plant and equipment such as vac trucks, HDD rigs, and excavators.

Key Responsibilities

Install telecommunications pits and remove asbestos pits in line with safety and environmental standards

Assist with pipe laying, trenching, and general civil works

Operate or assist with machinery including vac trucks, excavators, and HDD rigs

Perform site setup, preparation, backfilling, and reinstatement

Follow all WHS protocols and wear correct PPE

Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure quality and timely project delivery

Be proactive in learning and developing new civil construction skills

What We're Looking For

Experience in civil construction or telecommunications

White Card (Construction Induction) – mandatory

Asbestos removal certification – advantageous (or willingness to obtain)

Traffic Control and Implementer tickets – highly regarded

Experience operating excavators, vac trucks, or HDD rigs – desirable

Manual driver’s licence – required (MR or HR licence desirable)

Strong work ethic, physical fitness, and commitment to safety

Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
