About the role

FSC Civils are seeking experienced Post Tension/Steel Fixers to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project south of Perth.

These are FT Permanent roles with opportunities for long-term career opportunities and development.

You will be responsible for the installation and tensioning of steel cables in concrete structures, always ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

What you'll be doing

Install and tension steel cables in concrete structures, according to project specifications

Prepare and install concrete anchors and any other components required for post-tensioning works over water and at heights

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations

Collaborate with the construction and project teams to coordinate the process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Post Tensioner/Steel Fixer in the construction industry

Good understanding of post-tensioning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

EWP/Scissor lift tickets

Current Working at Heights Ticket

Willing to undergo pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
