About the role

Link-Force Au' is seeking experienced Post Tension Steel Fixers to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a long-term role, offering reliable full-time hours and competitive pay. As a Post Tension Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for the installation and tensioning of steel cables in concrete structures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

What you'll be doing

Install and tension steel cables in concrete structures, including working on high rise buildings according to project specifications

Prepare and install concrete anchors, ducts, and other components required for post-tensioning

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant building codes and safety regulations

Collaborate with the construction team to coordinate the post-tensioning process

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all post-tensioning activities

Identify and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the post-tensioning process

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Post Tension Steel Fixer in the construction industry

Must have clean criminal record

Thorough understanding of post-tensioning techniques, equipment, and safety protocols

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

Current construction industry-specific certifications (e.g., CPCO, CPCT)
