We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented WHS Administration Officer to join their team in Mooloolaba, Queensland. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for an individual eager to kickstart their career in workplace health and safety administration.
Key Responsibilities
Document Management & Control: Maintain registers and document libraries.
Training Coordination: Keep license/training matrices current; distribute micro-learning content.
Incident Reporting & Investigation: Administer logs and support fact-finding.
Service Risk Assessment, Violent Risk Assessments & Safety Plans: Assist with collating information, documentation, and record-keeping.
Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment: Assist with ergonomic, chemical, and psychosocial assessments.
Policy & Procedure Support: Draft amendments and coordinate reviews.
Emergency & Safety Management: Update evacuation diagrams and traffic-management plans.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Collate survey data and produce dashboard visuals.
Project Support: Assist with compliance audits and quarterly reports.
What We're Looking For
A passion for workplace health and safety, with a keen eye for detail and organisation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
Strong administrative and data management skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Working knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and best practices (desirable)
An ability to prioritise tasks, work independently, and contribute to a team environment
Compliance Requirements
Current Blue Card (or willing to apply)
Criminal history screening - prescribed notice yellow card (or willing to apply)
Current Licensed Care Service (LCS)
Current valid Queensland driver license (unrestricted)
