About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Construction professional to join our growing team at Elexcom PTY LTD. In this full-time position based in Loganholme, QLD, you will play a pivotal role in the execution of our diverse range of infrastructure projects across the region.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing the delivery of civil construction works, including earthworks, drainage, road construction, and site preparation
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient, high-quality, and timely project completion
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness
• Providing on-site supervision and mentoring to junior team members
• Maintaining detailed project records and documentation

What we're looking for

• Proven track record of at least 5 years' experience in civil construction projects
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment
• Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead by example
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
