STORE MANAGER (RETAIL)

Location: Bunbury, Western Australia
Hours: 38 hours a week

We are looking for a professional Store Manager to join our unique store.

The role includes:

Staff rostering, support and training

Perform daily administrative tasks

Communicating policies and procedures to all staff through training

Supervising/managing the day to day activities of all staff

Stock management and reporting

Teaming up with the business owner to generate a vibrant and positive culture where sales are maximised and issues dealt with quickly and effectively

Managing the inventory; orders, stock takes, loss prevention, customer returns

Working closely with Director executing business development/management projects

Ensure that the showroom is impeccably presented at all times

Build and maintain strong relationships with management, staff, customers and suppliers

Manage store performance and team targets

The ideal candidate for this role:

Has strong retail management and fashion/lifestyle/gift industry (or any related role in other industry ie Hospitality)

Is confident, high energy and self motivated

Able to model a high degree of professionalism and communications at all levels.

A positive and inspiring style of management and mentoring.

Keen interest in fashion/gift/lifestyle industry.

Ability to confidently use POS systems

Ability to manage staff’s daily tasks/performance

Ability to work in a stockroom environment and perform tasks such unpacking of stock as required

Necessary skills to balance customer care with administrative duties

High personal standards in providing superior customer service and a high level of organisation

An eye for detail to uphold our high visual merchandising standards

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required

This position is a minimum of 30-38 hours/week and hours are negotiable for the right applicant.

To be successful you will possess the following:

Demonstrated experience as an Sales/Store/Stock Manager/Manager (or higher level welcomed) or any related role in other industry ie Hospitality
