Murray Street Convenience Store, operated by IAS Brother Pty Ltd, is a well-established retail business located in the heart of Perth City. We provide a wide range of convenience products, including groceries, beverages, and tobacco products, catering to a diverse customer base. We are currently seeking a Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, ensure excellent customer service, and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage overall store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.

Lead and supervise a team of retail staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

Develop and implement sales strategies to increase store revenue and meet business objectives.

Oversee stock management, ordering, and inventory control to minimize shortages and waste.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including tobacco sales and licensing laws.

Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cash flow management, and reporting.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.

Implement and maintain workplace health and safety protocols.

Provide high-quality customer service and resolve any customer issues efficiently.

Essential Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in a convenience store or tobacconist setting.

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.

Proficiency in stock control, budgeting, and financial reporting.

In-depth knowledge of retail sales strategies and customer service excellence.

Familiarity with tobacco product regulations and retail compliance.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.

Experience in a fast-paced, high-traffic retail environment.
