We are looking to engage a Junior(Intermediate) Accountant for one of our clients, a leading CPA firm based south of the river.

Working directly with one of the Partners, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of tax compliance work and business advisory services with direct client contact (Accounts, Tax Returns, BAS, FBT, Tax Planning, Cash Flow Forecasts and Budgets)

The successful applicant should have the below for the relevant position:

Must be degree qualified

Minimum 1-2 years Australian experience in the industry

Started or Intention to Start CA/CPA Studies

Knowledge of basic accounting structures (companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders)

Strong communication skills

The ability to be self-motivated and work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Have excellent time management skills and be well organised to meet internal/external requirements & deadlines

Competency and experience with Cloud based systems (ie. Xero, MYOB)

Competent user of Microsoft Office programs (ie. Outlook, Excel)
