The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SME clients, providing end-to-end compliance and advisory services. You'll work closely with Partners and Managers, with the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement.

Duties Include:

• Preparation and review of financial statements and tax returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, and Individuals
• Managing BAS, IAS, FBT, and CGT obligations
• Identifying tax planning opportunities and providing strategic advice
• Building strong client relationships and being a trusted point of contact
• Supporting and reviewing work of junior accountants as required
• Participating in team training, development, and process enhancement

About You:

• 5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion)
• Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance
• Confident communicator, comfortable building client relationships remotely
• Able to manage your workflow independently and take initiative
• Previous experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g. Xero, APS, MYOB AE)
