About The Role
This is a hands-on, territory-based sales role where you’ll engage with contractors, consultants, integrators, and key end users to deliver tailored fibre optic and connectivity solutions. You’ll take ownership of your portfolio – from prospecting and quoting through to closing and account management.
Your Day-to-Day:
Drive new business and grow existing accounts across construction, data centres, telco, and industrial projects
Recommend fibre optic cabling, connectivity, and network infrastructure solutions based on customer needs
Collaborate with technical teams and suppliers to ensure solution accuracy and on-time delivery
Maintain CRM records and report on pipeline activity
Attend site visits, technical meetings, trade events, and training sessions
About You
You’re a confident and motivated B2B sales professional who thrives on delivering consultative, solution-based advice tailored to your clients’ needs. With a strong understanding and genuine passion for fibre and connectivity infrastructure, you’re skilled at building rapport quickly, identifying opportunities, and consistently delivering value.
Additionally, you bring:
Demonstrated technical or solution-based sales experience in cabling, connectivity, electrical, or communications (highly desirable)
Knowledge of fibre optic systems, structured cabling, or network infrastructure
Excellent communication, relationship building, negotiation and influencing skills
Commercial mindset and self-starter attitude
Driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout metro and regional VIC
Salary & Benefits
$90,000 to $110,000 + Super + Car Allowance + Uncapped Commissions
