Ongoing Training and mentorship: The firm prides itself on having a culture where the leadership team is available for training and support that counts. All staff have ongoing training and support in daily dealings and also with subject matter training as and when needed (new staff have always commented how much they learn in a short period of time compared to years in previous firms). Henry Assaf is a member of both CPA and CAANZ and is able to provide mentoring to staff that wish to undertake this level of professional education. Up to 10 Days Study leave can be provided for those looking to undertake further training that is endorsed by the firm.

The Opportunity

Drawing upon your previous experience, you'll tackle the standard responsibilities of a senior tax accountant, including tax returns and financial statements preparation, offering you a stage to showcase your expertise and provide the practice and it's clients your insights.

Skills and Experience Required:

Senior experience as a tax accountant, demonstrating proficiency in preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities.

A proficient understanding of Australian Taxation law with practical application of accounting principles.

Knowledgeable in accounting software including Xero, MYOB, and HandiSoft is preferred.

Qualifications in accounting is advantageous.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Possesses strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
