About the role

TAX7 ACCOUNTANTS' is seeking a talented Graduate/Intermediate tax accountant to join our team in Sydney. What you'll be doing

Co-meeting clients with our senior members

Preparing tax returns for corporate and individual clients

Preparing bank reconciliation, ledger, BAS, GST, working papers, financial statement and tax returns for companies, trusts and SMSF

Assistance in providing strategic tax planning advice to help clients minimise their tax obligations

Assisting with the implementation of new tax laws and regulations

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless tax compliance

Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the tax industry

Contributing to the continuous improvement of our tax processes and procedures

What we're looking for

attention to details

A degree in Accounting, with minimum 1 tax subject completed

1-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role.

experience in personal tax return preparation at HR Block, ITP or other similar retail tax agent

Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and regulations

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with tax software and technology
