About the role

Blue Phoenix Western Australia is seeking an experienced Excavator Driver to join our team in Hope Valley, WA. This is a full-time position, where you will be operating heavy machinery on sites and playing a vital role in the successful production flow.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating and maintaining excavator on sites

Performing pulling down material from stock pile, stock piling 400t per day, picking material from the pile and loading a crusher.

Collaborating with the front end loader driver, to maintain production flow.

Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on site

Carrying out routine maintenance and inspections on the excavator and related equipment

What we're looking for

Min 1 year experience as an Excavator Operator.

Relevant qualifications, such as a Licence for Excavators.

Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

About us
Our latest facility in Hope Valley, Western Australia, is the first in Australia and the world to bring all Blue Phoenix technology together in one plant. Blue Phoenix will process 100% of the IBA – about 80,000 tonnes per annum – from Acciona, our EfW partner. The plant recovers metal to minus two millimetres and returns the residual aggregates into bound and unbound civil applications. This advanced process seeks to liberate agglomerated slags and metals for further refinement and valorisation. Still, the residual minerals have been recovered significantly to provide a proven aggregate for reuse in the civil construction industry.
