Buckland Aged Care is the trusted provider of aged care services in the Lower Blue Mountains. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care and creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors.

We’re currently seeking Cleaners and Laundry Assistants to join our team of General Service Officers. We have both permanent part-time and casual roles available.

Your responsibilities will include:

Perform high-standard cleaning duties including mopping, vacuuming, sanitising, waste management, and restocking supplies

Carry out laundry tasks including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing resident clothing and facility linen

Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

Support other departments such as kitchen as needed

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in cleaning and/or laundry services (aged care experience is ideal but not essential)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety standards

Be respectful, compassionate, and able to communicate effectively with elderly residents and team members

Knowledge of Work Health and Safety principles

Be organised, reliable, and proactive with a positive attitude

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check and the right to work in Australia
