We provide Behaviour Support, Therapeutic Support, and Disability Employment Coaching under the NDIS. Our mission is to create a safe place for people to heal, grow, and achieve their goals.
We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Support Workers and Employment Coaches to join our team in Geraldton and the Midwest region. This is a hybrid role where you will offer both employment coaching and support work to your clients to support them through the whole employment or training process. You will help participants build skills, find and maintain employment (including micro-enterprise opportunities), and participate fully in their communities.
About the Role
As a Support Worker / Employment Coach with Haven, you will:
Provide individualised, person-centred support in all areas of training and employment
Assist participants with developing job-seeking skills, resume writing, interview preparation, and navigating employment opportunities
Support participants to explore and develop micro-enterprise opportunities, including planning, skills development, and ongoing coaching
Offer on-the-job coaching and workplace support to help participants maintain employment
Support daily living skills, social inclusion activities, and community access
Work within a strengths-based, trauma-informed framework promoting participant choice and control
Collaborate with Behaviour Support Practitioners, therapists, families, employers, and other stakeholders to deliver holistic support
Complete documentation and reporting in line with NDIS Practice Standards
About You

An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Knowledgeable about or interested in supporting small business and micro-enterprise goals
Reliable, adaptable, and professional in your approach
Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Confident using technology for rostering, communication, and record-keeping
Mandatory Requirements
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children Check (as required in WA for the role)
National Police Clearance (current / within 12 months)
Provide First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
Current driver’s licence and reliable, insured vehicle (some travel may apply)
Highly Regarded
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, Community Services, or equivalent
Experience in disability support, employment services, coaching, or mental health
Knowledge of the NDIS, person-centred planning, and behaviour support approaches
Experience supporting small business or micro-enterprise development
