About the role:

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide individualised support to people with disabilities across a range of settings, including supported independent living, in-home care and community participation based across South Lake, Bayswater and Armadale. You'll help our clients build independence, reach their goals and maintain their wellbeing in everyday life.

What you'll be doing:

Provide support to clients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities

Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, medication support, meal preparation and household tasks such as cleaning and shopping

Support community participation (appointments, activities and outings)

Follow individualised support plans and behaviour support strategies

Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reporting

Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements

Foster independence, dignity and respect in every interaction

What we are looking for:

Experience working within a residential setting and/or working with people with a disability

Certificate III in disability, Individual Support or a related field (preferred)

Must have full Australian working rights (essential)

Current NDIS Screening Check

Current CPR

Working with Children Check

Valid Australian drivers license

Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
