About the role

As Plant Operator B you will be part of the Gravel Roads Team and assist with maintenance of over 250km of Ipswich City Councils unsealed road network.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Operate plant and equipment
• From time to time operate heavy vehicles (water truck)
• Undertaking detailed maintenance of roads and drainage assets
• Complete road maintenance in line with relevant legislation, policies and procedures

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current HR Driver Licence
• Experience driving heavy vehicles which could include motor grader, roller or front end loader/articulated wheeled loader
• Demonstrated background in civil construction and/or maintenance activities in relation to unsealed roads
