Jeyco is an Australian family-owned business in the design and supply of quality mooring, towing and rigging equipment for the marine, mining, defence and oil & gas industries.

We are looking for a driven individual to join our team in Bayswater in a sales focused role.

This role provides the opportunity to work within a close knit team in a family owned manufacturing business.

This role will report to the General Manager.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and Maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers

Work to continuously improve and grow the business in a positive way through sales,

profitability, relationships and business opportunities

Travel as required to visit Jeyco's national customer base and seek out opportunities

Provide technical and professional advice on Jeyco's product suite and services

Ensure products meet specifications and identify any potential non-conformances

Quote products, services and projects in line with Jeyco Protocols

Manage tenders and project execution

Handle general sales enquiries

Manage suppliers and source products

Provide leadership and guidance to all staff and contractors

Promote a safe and professional workplace whilst harnessing positive relationships

with Jeyco Team

Identify stock requirements or shortfalls and initiate supplier purchase requests

Assist General Manager with management of the overall business as required

Explore and scope new markets for the business with particular focus on Defence and Mining projects

To be successful in this role you will have a range of skills including:

Excellent customer service skills with an urgency to get tasks completed

Bring a positive attitude to the workplace and provide leadership to the wider organisation

Work in a dynamic, deadline driven environment with key focus on delivering on Jeyco's promise

Proficient with computers and the ability to pickup new software and systems quickly

Experience with MYOB EXO preferred but not compulsory

Basic theory related to rigging and mooring equipment desirable

Good estimating and quoting skills with ability to interpret technical information

Enjoy interacting with people and networking to seek leads and opportunities

Ability to work in a dynamic small business and contribute to additional tasks as and when required.

Be self driven with the ability to work unsupervised
