About the role

Mara Multi-Build Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team on a contract basis in Brisbane, QLD. As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of residential and commercial buildings, working closely with our skilled tradesmen to deliver high-quality workmanship.

What you'll be doing

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to complete construction tasks efficiently and accurately

Perform a variety of carpentry duties, including framing, finishing, and installing doors, windows, and cabinetry

Use hand and power tools to measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials

Collaborate with the project team to ensure the timely and cost-effective completion of projects

Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards to maintain a safe and productive work environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential or commercial construction

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications

Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to find efficient solutions to complex challenges

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Commitment to safety and a strong attention to detail

Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship qualification
