About The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for a reliable and enthusiastic Lab/Production Assistant to join a small, friendly team based in Brookvale. This casual position offers 28–30 hours per week, with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. With a strong focus on training and support, this hands-on role offers scope for rapid career progression within a growing beauty brand.

Reporting to the Production Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the preparation and production of skincare products.
• Bottle, fill, cap, label, and batch code products with accuracy and care.
• Follow established systems and standard operating procedures.
• Clean, sanitise and reassemble equipment.
• Operate processing machinery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production area.
• Accurately complete production records and batch documentation.
• Stock management and ordering.
• Managing relationships with suppliers.

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work under pressure
• A high level of organisation and be reliable and punctual
• A positive communicator with a professional approach
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 20kg
• Competence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confident with basic computer tasks

It would also be desirable if you have:

• Experience in skincare, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical production
• Understanding of inventory management eg Unleashed
• Familiarity with GMP practices and batch traceability
