Our client, a food manufacturer, is looking for a Production Assistant to join their busy team. This role requires some high reach forklift work, so a forklift license with experience will be required.

The successful candidate will be working Monday - Friday, either 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.

Your role will include, but not be limited to:

Heavy lifting, up to 25kg

Measuring, blending and batching of dry powders

High reach forklift work (about 20-30% of the time)

Picking products, matching SKUs and batch numbers

Labelling of products

Working with dangerous goods

Cleaning the workspace

Wearing additional PPE (hairnet, respirator mask etc.)

To be considered for this role you must:

Hold a current forklift license with 2+ years of high reach experience

Be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual labour

Be willing to do a variety of tasks

Be comfortable with wearing additional PPE when working in production

Be willing to commit to an ongoing, Monday - Friday position
