We are currently seeking applications for a Technical Analyst to join Financial Services at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of up to 18 months.
Remuneration: ASO6 - Salary Range ($98,478 - $104,165p.a.).
About the opportunity:
We are seeking experienced Technical Analyst to drive strategic change and improve efficiency and quality of services provided within Financial Services. This is a key role working with a variety of stakeholders in Shared Services SA to evaluate the impacts and lead change and improvement initiatives within the business. About you
To be successful you will have:
Proven high-level written and verbal communication skills, including the provision of expert advice on issues of a critical and complex nature.
Strong analytical and process management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
Demonstrated ability to assist in the identification of strategic and operational service delivery issues, think laterally and apply high-level analytical, qualitative and research skills to develop appropriate business solutions.
Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet deadlines, including dealing with competing demands and managing multiple projects and tasks in a complex environment.
Experience in providing high level statistical information and reports in accordance with agreed performance standards and Service Level Determinations.
Experience in contributing effectively to the establishment, review and continuous improvement of business strategies, service standards, policies and processes, particularly in relation to accounts payable or related finance functions.
Significant knowledge of contemporary finance practices, policies, procedures, systems, and government legislation including the public sector financial management compliance framework.
Proven ability to successfully implement improvement initiatives and change management initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in the application of the relevant legislation, policies and procedures, including Code of Ethics, EEO and cultural inclusion.
An understanding of the legislative requirements of the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.
An understanding of and ability to work/manage to the spirit and principles of AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk management - Guidelines.
