Our Mission

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced House Manager to lead a team of Youth Workers in a residential setting. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for young people, supporting their wellbeing, and creating a safe, home-like environment underpinned by trauma-informed practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Youth Workers, providing coaching, support, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with HSQS, Child Protection Regulations 2023, and Standards of Care.
• Coordinate daily operations, including rostering, incident reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
• Maintain and review support plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster a positive team culture aligned with Well Life Services’ values.
• Participate in on-call duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You’ll Bring

• Essential: Actively studying towards or hold a Diploma in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services, or similar
• Demonstrated leadership experience in the human services sector.
• Strong understanding of child protection legislation and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and QLD Driver’s Licence.
