The Opportunity
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced House Manager to lead a team of Youth Workers in a residential setting. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for young people, supporting their wellbeing, and creating a safe, home-like environment underpinned by trauma-informed practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Youth Workers, providing coaching, support, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with HSQS, Child Protection Regulations 2023, and Standards of Care.
- Coordinate daily operations, including rostering, incident reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and review support plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster a positive team culture aligned with Well Life Services’ values.
- Participate in on-call duties and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Essential: Actively studying towards or hold a Diploma in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services, or similar
- Demonstrated leadership experience in the human services sector.
- Strong understanding of child protection legislation and trauma-informed care.
- Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Current Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and QLD Driver’s Licence.
