Mood Workshop is a Melbourne-based fine-furniture and joinery workshop with a reputation for fearless problem solving and clever craftsmanship. Our creative and committed manufacturing team needs a new crew member to boost our joinery capacity.

Established in 2016 by experienced craftsperson and maker Craig Shanahan, Mood Workshop values a fun, respectful, and collaborative making process and high-quality results across all our projects – whether it's residential joinery, commercial fit-out, furniture design or bespoke commissions.

We work with Melbourne's best builders, architects and designers on a diverse range of commercial and residential projects.

About the role

This role is a great opportunity for an experienced joiner/cabinet maker to utilise their well-developed skills, working on some of Melbourne's most challenging and interesting fit-out and furniture projects.

The role is based in our workshop in Heidelberg West and offers a competitive salary, great flexibility and an amazing work environment.

You will use your joinery skills in the making of high-end, detailed joinery from concept to completion. This will include competent use of tools and machinery, while adhering to high-quality standards and timely delivery.

Skills and experience

Relevant trade qualifications

Minimum 2 years trade-qualified experience in cabinet making

Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings, job sheets and cutting lists

Strong attention to detail with the capacity to strategically problem solve

Collaboration and a team spirit
