The opportunity

NextGen Cabinets Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our small business in Dandenong South, VIC. As a full-time Cabinet Maker & working alongside the owner , you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinetry as well as providing on site installation.

Key responsibilities

Interpret and follow technical drawings and specifications to fabricate Kitchen cabinets, vanities, wardrobes and other custom cabinets.

Operate woodworking machinery and tools, such as saws, edge banders, routers and sanders, to shape, cut, and assemble wood components

Measure, mark, and cut wood materials to required sizes and shapes

Assemble and install cabinets, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and finish

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all safety protocols

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cabinet Maker

Strong proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

Commitment to delivering high-quality work and customer satisfaction

Good communication and teamwork skills

Relevant trade certificate or qualifications in Cabinet Making
