About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on FMS Technician to join our skilled team based in Mackay. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fleet management hardware and communication systems across various mine sites.

This role will involve field-based work, supporting major clients throughout the Bowen Basin and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure and maintain FMS and related hardware in mining equipment

Perform diagnostics and repairs on electronic and communication systems

Provide technical support and fault finding on-site and remotely

Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Adhere to safety and compliance standards at all times

About You

Trade qualification or relevant experience in electronics or auto-electrical fields

Familiarity with mining fleet systems (e.g. Hexagon, Wenco, Modular, CAT Minestar) preferred

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Able to work in remote and outdoor environments

Current manual driver’s licence

Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical (or ability to obtain)
