About the role

Flex Industries is seeking a talented Service Advisor to join our team in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. As a Service Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vehicle servicing and repair business. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and contribute to the continued success of our organization.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, understanding their needs, and offering solutions

Scheduling and coordinating vehicle service and repair appointments

Preparing service and repair estimates, obtaining customer approval, and managing the work order process. Opens repair orders, quote jobs, oversee and manage warranty, create repair plans & scheduling of work

Communicating with technicians to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

Develops positive relationships with key customers, to resolve customer concerns and update customers on vehicle status

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to service and repair activities

Finalise and invoice jobs, ensuring details on services rendered and costs are relayed to customers and processing of cash sale payments.

Identify and communicate any additional repair or maintenance needs to customers

Monitors key performance indicators for the workshop, including labor productivity and customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing role in the automotive industry.

A mechanical background would be advantageous, or a thorough understanding of automotive systems, parts, and repair procedures

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle customer concerns and provide solutions

Proficient in using automotive service and repair management software

Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards
