Easyquip has a position available for a Casual Production Operator at our Heathwood location, focusing primarily on yard duties and labouring work, including fitting our final products with lids, tarps, stickers, ID plates, and hinges. This is initially a casual role offering up to 40 hours per week, with the potential for permanent employment in the future, subject to operational requirements.

This role requires a safety-conscious and detail focused individual, as you will be supporting our manufacturing and dispatch operations to ensure our products are prepared to the highest quality before departing our site.

Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am with a close-knit, friendly and culturally diverse team.

About the Role:

Loading and unloading large and bulky items safely onto trucks and around the yard using a pendant-operated gantry crane or forklifts.

Fitting out final products with lids, stickers, identity plates, tarps, and hinges

Conducting final quality checks before dispatch

Assisting with goods dispatch and receipting processes

Operating metal fabrication equipment when required (training provided), such as a hydraulic shear and press.

About You:

Essential

You must have a current high-risk forklift licence (LF) and extensive truck loading/unloading experience to be considered for this role.

Previous yard or store person experience with an understanding of basic dispatch and receipting processes

Experience using hand and power tools

A "safety first" mindset, an eye for details, and a desire to take ownership of tasks

Be reliable with reputable references. (These will be checked)

Strong safety awareness and commitment to maintaining a clean, organised yard

Highly Advantageous

Some experience in Mig Welding or an interest in learning

Electrical Test & Tag competency, including plug top repair.
