About the role

Malaga Auto Repairs is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic to join our team in Malaga, WA. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity for an automotive professional to contribute to the success of our thriving auto repair workshop.

What you'll be doing

Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of motor vehicles

Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, and tyre rotations

Interpret technical manuals and schematics to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues

Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of client orders

Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Contribute to the continuous improvement of workshop processes and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician/Mechanic

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

We also pay $40.00 per week tool allowance
