Key responsibilities

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across a variety of vehicle and machinery using the latest tools and technologies

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used

Collaborating with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service

Ensuring the workshop is kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards

Understand and use mechanical software programs

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner, in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations

Providing excellent customer service, communicating with clients about their vehicles and addressing any concerns or issues

Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with industry developments and best practices

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics or a related field

Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work

The ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

Great communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team

A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment

Monday - Friday work week with RDO every second Friday

We close for 2wks for the Christmas & New Year period (this will be taken as annual leave minus the public holidays)

Ongoing training and professional development opportunities including but not up to, High Risk Work Licence, First Aid, Refrigerant Handling Licence, Hybrid and Electric vehicle repair, product and tool specific training.

Eligibility

Minimum Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or other automative certificates)

Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

Full Australian working rights

Australian Driver's License

Motor Vehicle Repairer Certificate
