This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose and repair faults in light vehicles, including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles

Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing tasks to the highest standard

Utilise advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues

Provide exceptional customer service by communicating progress and recommendations clearly

Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner

Maintain detailed records of work undertaken and parts used

Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment

Work to high standards, following workshop procedures and safety guidelines

Deliver quality work that keeps our customers safe and satisfied

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or Light Vehicle Mechanics (preferred, but not essential if you have experience)

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in a workshop environment

Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex issues

Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to communicate technical information clearly

Proficient in the use of diagnostic equipment and specialist tools

Commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship and workplace safety

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines

Valid Australian driver's licence required for vehicle testing and movement

Engine and gearbox repacements, headgasacket repairs/replacment
