About Echuca Goodstart Region

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Echuca is a 105-place centre, located on the edge of Echuca in a residential area conveniently close to local industry and commercial areas. Embracing our local heritage, our six rooms have been named after the famous Paddle Steamers that call our section of the Murray River home.

What you'll be doing

Delivering engaging and educational programs that support the development and learning of children aged 0-5 years

Ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to play and learn

Building strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

Documenting children's learning and development and communicating progress with families

Adhering to all relevant early childhood education and care regulations and Goodstart's policies and procedures

Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiative

What we're looking for

Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care)

Demonstrated experience working in a childcare or early learning environment

Strong understanding of child development and the ability to plan and implement age-appropriate activities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children and families

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Current VIC Working with Children Check or the ability to obtain one
