Senior Unix Systems Specialist
We are partnering with a prestigious tertiary institution to recruit a Senior Unix Systems Specialist. This role will provide expert Unix server and storage administration support to the organisation on a contracting basis.
This is an initial six-month contract with options to extend. The role requires two days on site in the Adelaide CBD.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong Unix/Linux server administration skills
• Solid experience with NFS (Network File System)
• Expertise in Unix file systems and general file/directory layout
• Proven experience with large deployments of Red Hat Linux

Key Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Extensive relevant experience; or
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience with Red Hat Satellite/Ansible
• Experience with Red Hat Directory Server (LDAP)
• Previous experience in higher education is advantageous
