Job Description:

We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Dry Fire Supervisor to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems related to fire protection. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dry fire systems, leadership experience, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and Fire Alarm Technicians involved in the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, regulations, and company standards.

Review and interpret plans/drawings, schematics, and technical drawings.

Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire systems to ensure they are functioning properly.

Fault find and resolve any technical issues that arise during installation or maintenance.

Train and mentor team members, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Coordinate with project managers, and other departments to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.

Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including materials used and hours worked.

Qualifications:

A-Grade Electrician with 5 years of experience in fire protection.

Ability to be listed as Technical Supervisor on ESV for REC.

Proven experience as a supervisor or in a leadership role is preferred but not essential.

Strong knowledge of electrical standards, relevant Australian Standards and regulations.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Commitment to safety and quality.

Willing to undertake a National Police Check

Current Victorian Drivers Licence
