We are seeking a permanent full-time Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of experience working within an Australian dental practice, who enjoys working alongside a positive and growing team. The ideal candidate has an excellent long term track record, is passionate about oral health and dedicated to helping patients understand the value of maintaining a healthy, beautiful, and long-lasting smile. This position will be based in our Ormond practice.

The responsibilities of the role include:

Liaising with patients and practitioners

Chairside assisting

Sterilisation of instruments

Stock ordering

Data entry

Reception duties

Opening and closing the practice

The chosen candidate will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Previous experience in the dental industry working both as a dental nurse and a dental receptionist

Dental assisting qualification is highly desirable

A great attitude, able to take on instructions and feedback from management positively

A drive to learn and flourish

Well presented, with a warm, kind, gentle and mature nature

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in dental practice management software (Experience with Dental4Windows is highly desirable but not essential)
