About the role

Join the dynamic team at d-spa as a Dental Assistant. This full-time role is based in our modern dental clinic located in the vibrant suburb of South Yarra. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital part in supporting our dentists and providing exceptional patient care.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and sterilising dental equipment and instruments

Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments and materials

Performing basic dental tasks such as taking impressions, applying topical anaesthetics, and placing temporary fillings

Ensuring the dental treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for the next patient

Greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records

Providing high-quality customer service and addressing patient queries and concerns

What we're looking for

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting.

All levels of experience will be considered.

Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification. Not essential

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and the dental team

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in using dental software and technology

A caring and compassionate attitude towards patient care
