About the Role
- Full time (35 hours/week)
- Ongoing Position
This role is responsible for leading and overseeing a team of tenancy management staff as well as managing key relationships, partnerships, and networks to deliver high-quality client service to people accessing Link Wentworth's services.
In this role you can expect to be involved in things like:
- Providing management and leadership to the tenancy team
- Preparing documentation, briefs, and reports
- Attending formal/informal tenancy terminations in partnership with appropriate services where required
- Preparing documents and delivering to the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal (NCAT)
- Enforcing legislation in relation to tenancy agreements
- Managing complaints and appeals to effective resolution
- Strengthening relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and support providers
- Working alongside staff in the development of community building strategies to build vibrant communities and reduce disadvantage
Who we are looking for:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in the human services industry
- Demonstrated leadership and/or supervisory experience including experience leading a high performing team and building a positive team culture
- Demonstrated understanding of the particular needs of people seeking and living in social & community housing
- Extensive experience in and understanding of applicable housing legislation, rental tribunal legislation, and social housing management policies, procedures and practices
- Demonstrated ability and/or experience in delivering high-quality client service to people with complex needs in a high-volume work environment
You will also need to have…
- A commitment to Link Wentworth's values of Customer Focus, Respect, Integrity, Compassion, and Ambition
- A valid National Police Check (less than six (6) months old) to the satisfaction of Link Wentworth, or the willingness to obtain one at our request
- At least two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations, meaning, having received the primary course of an Australian Government approved COVID-19 vaccination
- A current NSW Working with Children’s Check
- A current C-Class Drivers' Licence
