We are a busy Salon in Mooloolaba, seeking an experienced Salon Assistant.

Must have an in-depth knowledge of Hairdressing and how a busy Salon operates. Would suit a retired hairdresser who is looking for a few hour a week and keep their hand in.

We need someone who can use their own initiative and organization skills.

Must be able to run the appointments to keep the Senior Stylists on time.

Your daily tasks would include but not be limited to:

Basin area, washing hair

rinsing colours

neutralizing Perms

General cleaning keeping Salon and back room orderly

sweeping hair

washing / folding towels and capes

Applying regrowth colour

Foils

mid to end colours / toners

Tea /Coffee

Assisting Staff as in passing up rollers/ perm rods/ foils.

Days are:

7/8 hours per day for 2.5 days a week, increasing.

Saturday:

3/4 hours per day not negotiable.
